Hi guys
My lad is 7 yrs old, today we've been in the garden all day, with the patio doors open along with the kitchen one, plenty of water available at all times for my pup and him. He's been eating fine but tonight he did a massive wee ( puppy style) on the patio, he has not been doing his wee's as he usually would actually in the garden, as well as normally when my little girl spends a penny he would normally go over and put his scent over it, none of that has been happening today, all very odd.
Has anyone else had a similar issue?

Sounds like he is going for a proper wee only when he really needs it, and not venturing far due to the heat, rather than sprinkling here there and everywhere as a male often does.

Not that I've noticed, but it might be the heat, because you were out in the garden all day so his 'routine' was changed?   As long as he has a good flow when he does go, I guess he's okay?

Yes, may well be the heat, all be it odd for him. He produced a river last night lol, bless him. Today he has been using the garden as usual.

Mine are like that if it rains, won't go out until they are bursting and often one only as far as the outdoor mesh mat so she doesn't get her feet wet, grr.

A friend had a dobermann bitch who would just stick one back leg out the backdoor and pee literally on the step.

Sorry to upvote really as I'm sure it's annoying but I laughed out loud at these mental images!

It's always the older ones who work out how to do as little as they have to.
