Maybe check out some hunting forums. Not sure anyone on here partakes in lamping
Firstly you need to make sure that she is absolutely steady to anything you don't want to catch such as pheasants, chickens, deer, sheep, you get my drift, then she needs to be trained to return when asked and deliver her catch to your hand, she needs to be started off properly in the daylight and then introduced to night time activities. I hope this is not considered rude but you will also need permission from landowners if you want to lamp on their property, best to try and join someone experienced to learn the ropes and rules for legal quarry.

Is it a typo or do you want to sell her if she does not perform?

I think it should read 'do it by herself'...
no keeping her ever way couldnt part with her now
wont follow the lamp ive tryed
'Possibly' it might be worth a try if you used a good cree flashlite, they have a blue tint & hell of a range if you get the right one, just keep it on spot, what my understanding of dogs sight is that they see only in a series of grey shades except blue & apparently they can see a shade of that color. If you wanna try a cree ask here & Ill suggest a strong beam one.
.
how much are them worth a try
I had a look at ebay & I would go for this one, not least 'cause it 'cous comes with chargers & an 18650 battery, those are brighter than 3 AAA bats
It's advertised as 5000 lumens, thats good level of brightness, the only thing to be cautious about is if you use it on high power the batts will run down in a short time, but, it has 3 levels of brightness, low medium & high. See link below it is the lumens folks can judge that by & 5000 is very bright, low medium & high, see link

The new Complete Lurcher by Brian Plummer is' The lurcher/lamping Bible '
There's some good Facebook groups too. I haven't got into it as I don't feel comfortable with it but the book is fascinating and Brian Plummer is'one of the most respected in the field.
