I had no problem getting it in, even though my vet had never heard of it.
Personally, I wouldn't want to give a vaccination in the middle third of pregnancy, when their organs are developing and differentiating, and when birth defects can occur if anything untoward happens.
So I wouldn't give the 1st vaccination, now, but I would for sure give the vaccination at the end of pregnancy.
The first vaccination protects against herpes at the start of pregnancy, when it can cause miscarriage and absorption, and the 2nd vaccination protects against it at the end of pregnancy, when it can cause the pups to catch it at birth and then fade away and die in the first week or so afterwards.
The 2 jabs are not 'boosting' each other, or working together, as far as I can tell - it's just that each jab is quite short-lived and causes the bitch to develop antibodies for about 3-4 weeks afterwards.
So - I'd skip the 1st one, but I would get onto your vet ASAP about ordering in a dose for the end of pregnancy...
