Does anyone know where I can buy wheeled rigs in the UK for my malamute. When he is old enough, we are thinking of training him to pull a rig just as a hobby, but I have tried all over the net, and cannot seem to find anywhere that sells or makes them in the uk :(

char ..they cost about £320+ and second hand ones are very hard to find .... you need to start off slowly , let your lad get older before asking him to pull too much weight. Have you thought of getting a springer to attach to the side of a bike , he can get used to the feel of pulling whilst you are still able to pedal a bit and give him so help?

We started Hudson off with a side springer and have only just (at 14 months) progressed to a full harness and front springer.

I'm not thinking of starting him off yet, I have been told that you have to wait until they are at least 12 months anyway :) At the moment, we are just going to attach a very lightweight stick to his harness, just so he can get used to hearing a noise behind him, then as he gets a bit older, build up the weight a bit. I will do a search on a springer, this would be a lot of fun and I'm sure he would have a great time running alongside my bike :D
