Now trying to preoccupy myself

I don't know if the UK KC is the same, but on our litter registration form, it says we can't use the same word twice in the same litter.

So what about (for eg):

Smokin'
Smokescreen
Smoky Eyes
The Big Smoke

And so on?  In that list, none of the 'smoke' words are *exactly* the same - so would that be ok?  I'm trying to do a 'theme' around smoke, but if I can't repeat the word 'smoke' in the names, then can I repeat derivatives of it??

Thx!

If you have an affix they even let you repast the same word.

I ended up with two with April in, so I changed one (one of them had been my stand by), as I didnt' want two with the same word.

So you should be fine.

Thanks!  I don't know if our KC works the same but I shall try... :)

I usually have a theme so always have the same name repeated in the litter  ( with an affix)
I did have a name turned down once but it was too close to another dog registered.

As stated above you can use the same word if you have a kennel name - I had a litter that was on the lines of 'kennelname winters moon' 'kennelname winters star' etc I only changed the last word and it was fine.
I think it's to stop it looking like a kennel name if you don't have one so if you used 'winters moon' 'winters star' etc it would look like 'winter' was your kennel name. That's just a guess mind :)
