What conditioner do the CD groomers favour these days?  I've got some new schnauzers coming in in a fortnight and one is of that awful fine-fluffy-haired-legs variety which knots in a heartbeat!  I've got Wahl conditioner but I rarely use it as it doesn't make much difference.  Can anyone recommend anything?

I buy the 4lit container of this one.  You can dilute and I find that if I soak the coat with it after shampooing I can use a rake and get the coat smooth before rinsing.  I've used it for years.  Yorkshire Terriers and Bearded Collies.
