Of course slug pellets are toxic  shouldn't need warnings on packet .

They are not all toxic to dogs & kids, on top of which some folks might, probably do, plant flowers on countryside areas (daffs all over the place).

Indeed, some are pet safe.  And a lot of people simply don't know that the rest are toxic.

Thank you for warning i use salt and coffe granuls to kill slugs.my gran uses beer but i can not as dogs will drink it
also crushed egg shells are good too

I still prefer the assumption that chemicals bought from garden centres are likely to be toxic to pets so would keep the animals away from them. My gripe is the cocoa mulch which also can be both attractive and toxic to dogs and needs to be highlighted

Realy people realy need to be warned about it?
Yes there are some pet safe stuff now but Is it not just common sense that unless the package actualy says it's pet/kid safe that something designed to kill certain things will likely not be good if your pet or kid ate it?

Reading the post the product actualy said on it that it was dangerous for pets and kids, so it's not like there was no warning on it.
