Hi All hope your all well,,
i am here about my zoobie doo,, 10 yr old rottweiler i thought may have hip problems or arthritis as he had been limping on his back leg,, well results are in, he had xrays of hips and knees, bloods done to check kidney liver and so on,, good news is,, his hips are fine no sign of arthritis as yet, heart strong liver kidneys all good he is basicly a fit and healthy boy for his age and i am over the moon with this news,
Bad news is he has a ruptured ACL, They say needs an op on it right now his on 46ml of metacam and is now wanting to bounce about like his old puppy self again,, of course that would be the meds helping him out with that feeling , so i am having to slow him down a bit as dont want him to hurt himself anymore,,
Anyone got any experience with their dog having an ACL, would be interested in any advice or tips or anything i should be asking the vets before we go for the op,, many thanks in advance,,
