I have a couple of these, they do the trick very well:

You could make your own with non slip matting etc.

We have bought and put up a piece of chipboard, or equivalent to attach the 'winnings' to.  It avoids banging holes in walls!!  But clearly there are more up to date methods these days.   I do have some of the more important rosettes hanging from picture hooks and then one attached to others but otherwise these days, I have two big boxes full of Canadian/American ribbons as well as those won back here in the UK.  Such memories and I have no heart to simply take them to the dump.

Large pinboards here, one for each dog. Need to redo some of them as I have piles of rosettes to be added!!

Used to get a rectangle piece of fairly thick curtain type fabric, turn a narrow hem at one short edge, slide in a length of wooden dowel rod, make a notch about 1" from each end and use a length of string/cord from one to other and hang. Had one that had exemption rosettes on (crossbreed was a star and got placed in over 70% of classes we entered him in  ) and hung it on a door so you can make it as big as you like

Blue Peter has nothing on you. Sounds like a great idea.
