hi
decided to enter my old laid back pointer for local ring craft open show next month
not been showing since augest due to ill health
as you now i have just been dignoed with carpol tunnel synd and have to wear splints on both hands
lord h is amazing to show he goes at my piece and not pulls or acts iodots like my liver n white does he b..... idots at shows
have enterd lord h in av vetern .pointer open and adult handling
does splints restric you standing dog up and holding lead etc
would i be better to take splints off showing or keep them on ???

I never had any problem with using my hands, even with splints.

I'd suggest you practice with him and his show lead a few times in the garden to see how it will be

the first time i put splints on lord h came over and started nuding my hands then gave me paws
walked him today wearing splints felt weird at start
lord h is such laid back lovely boy nothing bothers him
