I'm excited about this because I am an anorak!
We were in Bygone Times in Eccleston, near Chorley, in Lancashire yesterday and in Hall 1, Stall 408 (I think!) there was a painting of a Keeshond, standing on what looked like decking (so it was either the corner of its barge, or a jetty) with the canal and a windmill in the background. I'm certain it was a Keeshond - the spectacles weren't massively clear: they were more like paler fur around the eyes without the very obviousl black 'frames' but I'm 99.9% certain that's what he was.
It wasn't a Dutch Master or anything, but it was a lovely paninting and the dog dominates the canvas. The picture itself, excluding the frame, was somewhere between A4 and A3 size.
I could have bought it - but I really want someone who actually has a Keeshond to find it!
It costs a whopping great....................................£4.99
