Hi all I'm new 2 this site and also new 2 whelping   just wondered if anyone could help really. Well my bitch is at 65days very restless she has diarrhoea this morning and she is on her 2nd day of not wanting 2 eat anything. Also is nesting in her whelping box all her teats have milk and every now and then she liking herself also she keeps wining today not like her. Any advise is much appreciated

I didn't let mine go over, counting from the first mating, more thn 2 days.   If she's on day 65 now, I'd get her checked by your vet - if he'll come out rather than you having to go to him, it may avoid her picking up some infection, and avoid a car trip - be warned, sometimes a car trip can get things going so it might be a good idea to take somebody with you, be prepared to pull over and have a box with a warm pad in it plus your whelping kit.   My bet is she'll probably whelp tonight but your vet may decide to go in - she could have gone to inertia.   Normally the apple doesn't fall until it's ripe tho.

I agree, I'm not an experienced breeder but I would get the vet to check and make sure there's not a big puppy causing a problem or something.

How are things now?  I was concerned that perhaps your girl was suffering from inertia.  Is she ok?

Omg so sorry was ment 2 write she had 5 healthy  gourges puppies that r doing great and so is mum. This was Tuesday afternoon thanku all for ur advise and help
