My bitch (medium size breed) will be on day 50 since mating and I'm still not 100% sure if she's pregnant!! I took her to my vets on day 37 and he confirmed definite changes within her uterus and therefore is pregnant. However I'm still not convinced, I know I should have had her scanned but I chose not too as the vet said she was and she gets quite distressed when in the vets so thought it best just to get her outta there. She has gained weight, and is ravenously hungry etc but her teets aren't particularly flushed or sagging yet and she still has a hairy belly.

This will be her second litter (and mine), so I'm wondering if maybe the signs are less obvious as they are first time round? Or am I just being overly neurotic?

Where do you live as some scanners will come to your house, I know Keith from Fit and Fertile does and not expensive at all
