Hi
I was hoping for a bit of help. Concise history- dogs were left with dog sitter whilst we went on honeymoon. My girl came into season and an unplanned mating happened. Found out too late, so here we are! As I don't know dates, and she is quite big, I am watching like a hawk and taking temperature regularly. She was scanned on 3/11 and estimated to be 50 days, so due 16/11 ish. However her temp dropped yesterday and we had some pacing last night, but temp went back up in the night. Temp down again this morning but higher again now. I have bred before, so am not a novice, but have never had a girls temp go back up after a 1 degree drop. Does anyone have any experience like this? Thank you

Yes, I had this for a full week before whelping. Drove me mad so I don't temp take anymore, just stay with them and watch like a hawk for the last week.

Good luck!

Thank you so much! Last litter was text book- and delivered on the due date, but not knowing the mating date is such a problem. At my age (50) I was a little surprised by my honeymoon pregnancy!!! Thanks again.
