Hi All,
    I had a gorgeous chocolate labrador Maggie who we unfortunately lost in a house fire last month. She was 6 year old and we are devastated for her :(

I said at the time I wouldn't get another one, and its still very raw, but I find myself looking on these boards at dogs.

with that in mind does anyone know of this dog?

His name is Berti and he was Maggies dad.

I am not trying to replace her but she had a lovely build and shape that I liked. He was quite tall for a Lab but also thick set with a lovely coat

Was Maggie or her dad KC registered? If so it would make it easier to trace them.

So sorry to hear about Maggie, it must have been a terrible time for you.

Is this him? http://christylabs.weebly.com/bertie.html it says on the website that he fathered a litter in 2009.

Thankyou you are are so helpful - Yes I think that is him!

I would love to get a descendant of him, I am not currently in a place where I want another dog just yet, but when the time comes it would be nice to find one with the same lines.
