Has anyone got any information or experience of the Balai agreement (importing a dog from abroad) I am struggling to get any answers from DEFRA although they are the people I have been told to contact. The Pet Passpor has prety well superceded this, as with Balai the dog has to have been kept quarantined on the breeders premiseed foir six months, whereas now under pets this doesn't apply, just the six month wait after the blood test, asssuming titres are OK!

I suppose the scheme is still on the ststue books though, Good luck, have you tried ringing. As MAFF they were very helpful on the phone, and you would get the relevant countries regulations for export by return of post!
