Although not a breeder I enjoy reading these posts. I've learned a lot too.  I don't want to unduly worry anyone but have read a couple of posts recently where seasons/breeding have been either long in duration or spacing.

My girl had both of these and I just thought it was her.  I took her to be spayed last November and they found multiple inoperable tumours.

I just want people to be aware that these symptoms could be something like this.  I wish I'd got to her sooner when they could have been treated by removing her ovaries.  The only successful treatment.

Sorry to hear that. I had Fleur spayed early this year as she had only had three seasons in four years and the vet was worried it could be ovarian tumours. Luckily this wasn't the case for her.

I'm glad Fleur is alright :) Also that you, and your vet, were aware enough to act soon enough. I wish I, and my vet had been.

I'm not an advocate of early s/n btw, that's why I intended to spay at 5/6. Sadly I didn't try until last year when too late.
