My girl today 51 days from first tie. Just had our vets check up and she's gained 2.2lbs in 2 weeks. She's a small breed. My vet seemed really shocked.

I'm feeling her Royal Canin & sometimes scrambled egg or some steak not alot & not often.

We've to go back in 9 days for final weigh in. Feeling stressed now. But I honestly haven't been over feeding her. The vet confirmed pregnancy but didn't do a head count said it's not accurate so she doesn't do them. So possibly she's just having a bigger litter.:roll:

2.2 pounds is about one Kilo, and this seems pretty normal to me.  Felicia is day 48 today, and she has certainly gained that much in the last two weeks.  When the growth of the puppies takes off, it is just amazing.

Yeah that's what I thought from all our reading.

She's defo changing everyday. It's amazing to see! Our box & supplies are all set so just to wait now

I wouldn't worry. I find some vets sometimes a little prescriptive when it comes to weight. They expect your dog to fit within their guidelines when common sense dictates if you have a taller, bigger framed dog she will naturally weigh more.

My small bitch gained about a kilo or slightly more with her recent litter and she only had two pups but she's in super shape. Nature knows best.

Not long to go now :) bet you're getting a little nervous! X

Ok thank you! I was just a little embarrassed at how shocked she acted.

So nervous. So worried we've come this far & there will be a problem. Trying my best to remain calm.
