Does anyone here give these from week 3 onwards after mating plse? Dorwest recommend doing so and then stopping a week after birth but I wondered if anyone has any feedback they can let me have on this plse? (I was aware that they could be used to potentially lessen whelping pains/make giving birth a bit less painful but I didn't know that they could be given so far in advance of the birth?). Would really appreciate any views. Many thanks, Marisa

The only time I used them the bitch suffered primary inertia !! Never felt confident enough to try again.

I only ever used it once many years ago with a Toy Poodle.  She had nothing but problems so I stick to decent nutritious food.

I've heard about this too, and I used to do it.  But as with so many of these herbal things, who can say for sure?  One would really have to take one female and let her have six litters, three with the raspberry leaves and three without.  And you probably still wouldn't be any the wiser.  I too am banking on nutrition, proper exercise and TLC (tender loving care) during pregnancy.

I tried this early days and saw nothing to indicate giving this made any difference!  Not that at that point, I had much to compare this with ........ I had mine on a good quality diet from before being mated (maintenance diet!), wormed and brought boosters utd, if needed, and that was it.
