My 7 month old rottie starts playing up when everyone is sitting down at the table to eat or just sitting at the tablehe will sit there beside you and start pawing you then shoving his face inbetween your arm and stil ignore him then last resort he will tug on jumper sleeve or jeans for attention or bark abit. Any tips to stop this when he does this?

He is likley board and looking for some fun. You could try giving him an interactive toy when your too busy to play, something like a stuffed Kong or treat ball.
How much exersize does he get a day? And do you do any short training sessions with him?

To be honest I wojld remove the dog from the room f he's bugging you while you eat and give him a chew or something to chew on if he won't settle away while you eat. I wouldn't be putting up with that and the dog would be removed, the more attention you give him while he's misbehaving he will continue as any form of touch or talking to him will naturally encourage if he's seeking your attention. Put him out before you dish up.
