I read on a thread here a few days ago that some people had started recieving their entry passes etc for Crufts. Mine still haven't arrived and I'm getting worried because I entered on-line. Is anyone else in the same boat?

Hi i enteres on line and got mine on thursday we are showing on friday also entred my parents dogs on line and they got theres on friday and are showing on sunday

Thanks for that. I guess I'll see if it turns up Monday or Tuesday and if not give them a call. I don't know where I stand but they have taken the money so I guess I'm covered.

Did you pull off a hard copy of your entry form?n This is your proof of entry.It gave you a payment reference number and an entry form number. Received mine on Friday as has two friends who also entered online.

ive got mine--show day sunday,

Got passes and car park pass this moring,we are on Friday,Also got passes for the Discover dogs stands, Did't know this gave you admittance for all four days,just for a three hour stint.

I didn't get a hard copy. I'd just completed the transaction and the net access went down. Impeccable timing as always. Couldn't get back to see a copy hence the concern about whether my entry was received. As it appeared on my statement I assumed that everything had gone through fine. Now I'm not so sure.

We entered online , and on the form you can choose who you wanted to be benched with.
I had a phone call from my friend that i want to be benched next to and the all the passes have gone to my friend stated that all my dogs belong to her.

Double check just incase this has happened to you aswell.

Peanuts I had this problem too. Although my tickets came to me, they are in my breeders name and apparently now my dog will be shown in the catalogue as being handled by my breeder instead of me! Don't think this is a very good system and they should warn you about this when requesting where you are benched.

I think the section was misleading or misunderstood by you both. Normally dogs are benched in alphabetical order of their owners names. There is no choice of being benched next to a freind, the only way a dog is benched differently is when it is listed as handled by someone else, and it is then benched with this persons dogs!

I have done this once or twice, but occasionally found that the catalogue didn't make the true owners clear,, so last year I had my freind enter her dog under her own name which begins with the letter C, as mine is B, we would be close, how wrong, my dogs were benched one side of the ring and my friends bitch the other side, and with the crowds this made it very difficult for met to keep an eye on them all, as I was the one showing them! In the end I asked a fellow exhibitor to show my freinds dog, and her neighbours to keep an eye out for her.

I saw this too Brainless and thought there is no way we would be allowed to request who we are benched next to, it would be too much hard work for the organiser and too convenient for us :rolleyes: However the way they word it on the internet is VERY misleading. So I called Fosse Data up and sure enough it was only applicable if you were handling someone elses dog. I told them at the time it was very misleading and I imagine now that the tickets are being sent out Fosse Data may very well receive some complaints :-(

I still preferred the online entering though and will always do it when available :-)
