hi should I be worried. My girl koda  is now 63 days into first stage labour yesterday morning. She started I believe showing first labour nesting  restless shaking  panting  loads. She's still at it with no signs of leading to contractions she lost her mucus plug 2 days ago.  She isconstantly  wanting to go outside I think she wants to Welph out there. This will be my first litter I have my mum on call and she has had over 39 years experience breading dogs and never had one go though what kodas going thigh for so long. I have read loads of  books articles pages and all say different that this can last 8 house 24 hours 48 hours rang vet he said it can take a awhile keep her calm   And close watch on her. She currently trying to sleep in between tearing up her bed  should I be worried any advice would be great

Worry over. Kodas been brillant we have 7 puppies now mum and puppies are doing great

Thankyou she ended up welphing on my couch  she had her first in the welphing box the moment puppy and placenta were out she kept out of her bed and jumped on couch I had to quickly get puppy out if sack calm koda down and after some reassurance she started cleaning puppy and welphed the other 6 perfectly
