It was very sad to see a young GSD having to be PTS because of elbow and hip problems. What beggars belief is they the owner then bought another puppy, presumably from the same breeder as this pup was half brother to the one that died. The vet thought this was ok.

Didn't see the first run of the program, only watched it because nothing else on..........Won't be watching again.

Was this a repeat because it wasn't scheduled on Chs. 1 - 5 in my TV guide?   Noel Fitzpatrick?    The fact they bought a half brother/sister to the one with poor hips /elbows doesn't necessarily mean the same thing will happen.  Takes two to tango and the sire might have had low hip/elbow scores?

Maybe the vet was being diplomatic re thinking this was okay?  He needs to keep his clients 'sweet' re income after all

The one pts must have been bad, if this was Fitzpatrick's programme because he usually goes ahead with surgery!!!
