We have had our lab for a few months now and she has this habit of peeing in puddles.I have had different breeds of dogs and never seen this before. Has anyone got any ideas why she does this?

My 13 year old collie girl has always done this too and occasionally my 6 year old silken windhound bitch will do it. No idea why they do, but at least you're not alone

My G.Rs will lie down in puddles. I thought that was bad enough but if they have been weed in ............... yuk!

Mine too. The older one wallows until she's black from the elbows down and cream on top. It's quite a sight. Usually it's when I have an appointment so I have to cancel it in order to have time to clean her up. Neither wees in puddles, but I wouldn't rule it out if there's a particularly nice pong they want to add to.

Aren't our dogs great. They never let us down in the entertainment department. Mine jumped into a full water trough today to cool down!

My first GR thought fox poo was Chanel no 5, she was never happier than when she had a generous dollop behind each ear! Fortunately the current two haven't discovered the stuff yet!

My daughter used to have a border collie who first drank out of a puddle, then wallowed in it and finally peed in it before walking off.
