hi my bitch whelped 8 pups last Saturday and is on a raw diet (natures menu) I know to give her liver for all the good things it has etc.
but am not sure how much is too much.

Offal is meant to be about 10% of a raw food diet - though some dogs can tolerate more, some less. Best not to over do it or the results might be messy! Some people feed liver after a meal of bone, to help things pass through more easily.

Check if there is iffat in the complete she is having or you will be over dping it.if not definitely start guving it now .offal should be around 10% of the diet of which 5% is liver.  Offal is any secreting organ.ie kidney pamceeaa
