Having spent a year planning this breeding....think I've come to the conclusion she has missed
We did idexx and mated 3 days after ovulation. This would have been her second litter. 
I decided not to scan her (I normally scan) due to working all hours to make sure I would have time off work for the litter.
She would be 40 days from ovulation....37 from mate. Only sign is enlarged nipples. I will take her for a scan next week.
All the time and effort of health testing..finding a suitable stud....blood testing....travelling hours

Sorry just needed to blow off a little steam.....especially when the idiots down the road have litters after litters without any of the planning, health tests etc!!!

Looks like I may be in same boat, scan inconclusive (day 28 - 33) back for rescan Tuesday which would be day 34 from last mating or 39 from first.

I have a bunch of people waiting with bated breath to know if they have a chance of a puppy, and unless I'm really lucky I am going to have to disappoint them and they may have to wait many months before another breeder may be able to help them.

Our registration figures last year were just 45! Just 9 litters and one adult import.

So with such numbers it's important to get people waiting to the next breeder ASAP if your bitch is going to miss.

Yes one of the worst things is telling the people on your waiting list. Just spoke with one today....they have been waiting for a 16 months and as this bitch has a yearly season they are not sure what they will do.
