Hi,
We were given the details of a particular breeder by one of the breed clubs. On contacting them we were advised that their bitch is pregnant now...they took our details and said that they would be in contact when the pups were born so we can initially visit when the pups are around 4 weeks old. We spoke in length on the phone and was advised about all the health checks that were done, that we'd get the certificates, that there would be a puppy contract etc, so things sounded great.
Now ideally, we would like to go and visit any breeder and their dogs before any pups arrive. The breeder didn't offer this at the time. I'm wondering whether to contact them and ask if we can visit. However, I'm wondering if it's suitable to visit when the bitch is pregnant and this is why they didn't suggest that we visit? I'd hate to be a nuisance by contacting them again, especially if visiting at this time isn't suitable under the circumstances that the bitch is pregnant. What does everyone think?
