Has anyone else discovered Wilko's "Mucky Pup Floor Wipes"? They are only 50p a pack and are very thick, strong and big. Supposed to be lavender smell but they don't seem it to me, thank goodness.  I use them for floors if I am feeling energetic but mainly I use them for wiping dog grease off the paint work, wiping the door step or even the worktops. Fantastic value for money.  I took my dog's breeder a pack as a present on my last visit then another puppy owner turned up with a bunch of flowers. I felt a tad embarrassed!  Mind you, she did think the wipes were marvellous.

Thank you for the tip, I shall give them a go! There does seem to be a retriever height plimsoll line, especially in doorways, that can be stubborn to clean off. :red:

Yes, they are very good.  I've used them for years and their surface wipes.  The smell is very soothing.  I love lavender.

Doesn't lavender also repel many insects?  So maybe the wipes would have fringe benefit?  Yes, moths at least, you can put lavender in a chest instead of cedar shavings.

Could you put a link to where to get them from, please?
Thank you

Thanks, Sue. I wouldn't have had a clue how to do that!   Stuck in the dark ages, that's me.

No problem, need to make a trip myself to try them out too :-)

You should try living with a Basset line AND a slobber line   LOL.   These might be worth a try much as I tend to use a cloth and washing up liquid to be honest.

Yikes, sounds interesting! I usually use fairy liquid and a damp cloth too, but if these are more efficient I will be chuffed. I have sent my Mum on a mission as she lives closer to a Wilko than I do!! BTW I love Bassets. Great dogs!
