I'm not sure exactly what papers you mean here? I'd not take any official registration papers to be available to the Public - or whether they'd be remotely interested to be honesty. I still have a file with ALL my hounds paperwork, photos for I/D, shot cards etc.etc. going back to our first in 1972. I do wonder why I keep them, but just can't throw them away.
I also have boxes in the garage stuffed with show ribbons and rosettes along with more solid trophies (keepers) we have won over the years. And then there's all my KCSB Records going back to the 1930s. All 'stuff' that having no kids and little to no connection to the show world (most of those I used to know have now passed away in any case) will have to be dumped eventually. Sad to consider.
At one point I started a collection of Basset-cards which I still have. And then there's my collection of figurines!!!
On the other hand, perhaps 'dog papers' means Dog World/Our Dogs???????
