Any information on 14 day old having seizures, feeding slowed down to near stopping seems to be toileting fine, been to vets had a very high temp had antibiotic jab and another to help bring temp down. Trying to feed been giving rehydration fluid, just little drops via syringe on tongue. Has gone on to have 5 more fits all since 11 am this morning. No worming or flea treatments given to pups or mum. Other pups seen fine at the moment. thanks
Back at vets having anti fit jab.
The seizures are very possibly the result of the very high temperature, which in turn is indicative of something else going wrong.
Without knowing full information it is hard to offer insight. It could be a parasite infestation in the puppy, some sort of bacterial infection.......???????
Has mum been wormed prior to giving birth? Is she fully up to date with her vaccinations? Has she had any sort of tummy upset recently?
My worry would be the damage that these fits are causing to a young and still developing brain. Prolonged seizure activity will eventually lead to cerebral edema (fluid on the brain)and death of brain cells. Chronic seizure activity may also alter the expected pattern of brain development. It is imperative that your vet can get these seizures under control very quickly.
Sending my very best wishes for your little one.

All vacs and worming upto date. He's now had valium to stop fitting. He stopped for an hour and had a mini fit after feeding. He's had a drop of honey to rule out low blood sugar see how he goes with that?
Prior to this he climbed out the whelping pen, could he have fell funny. Would that cause fitting?

Liver shunt?

Are you sure he hasn't got hydrocephalus? It isn't always very obvious (especially in some breeds) but could certainly explain the seizures.
Sounds like liver shunt to me, I had a golden pup with it and it was awful to see, sadly he was pts. He fitted after every feed, his coat was different also to the other pups rather wiry and starry. Hope all sorts out with your little

I had one PTS at 11 days, the fits/spasms started at 4 days and upset the bitch, and once he was gone she was able to settle. Vet said it was classic Liver shunt as it always happened after feeding.

Sadly I believe that you may well end up having this poor little mite PTS. What is your vets prognosis? If he hasn't given one, please do ask.
