Are vet charges £25 but i think its a promotion or special rate at the moment

I think it's £32.50 if direct with their packs, if the vets send it it's a lot more

but the vet will charge for the blood draw.

The cost of progesterone testing with Idexx is currently £33.36 (from Jan 2015 to Dec 2015). On top of that will be the cost of getting the blood drawn by your vet and either the cost of postage (it's recommended samples be sent by next day special delivery) or the cost of fuel if you're close enough to drop the sample off yourself (something I've done myself, this morning)
