Ok, not sure how to put this but am asking on behalf of someone else as I have no experience of this.
The lady has moved to a new house that is fully carpeted and has 3 stud dogs. Recently they had a visiting bitch and her garden hasn't been made ready so she used the study for the dogs to mate (quiet area, not enough room to mess about and easy to help either dog if needed) and after the tie, the dog, understandably 'dribbled' bodily fluid on the carpet. Now, she says the room has an aweful smell, almost like a very strong musky urine smell. She said she cleaned up as best she could at the time and has hoovered but it lingers.
She has every intention of having wooden flooring put down when able to but is there anything she can use to get rid of it in the mean time, bar carpet washer? She didn't want to do anything more without asking advice, in case it got worse. I don't have carpet so can't help her.
