How about contacting rescue unfortunately there are plenty that need a good home. Breed rescues or some general rescues specialize as well

Absolutely try rescue!  Staffies and their crosses are I think the most numerous type in rescue and by quite some way, and the majority are lovely dogs, there through no fault of their own.  Doris Banham rescue in particular always has dozens in foster homes looking for their forever sofas.

I have heard of figures of up to 40%,of dohs in rescue being staff. Tbh if you arnt looking to show and even then it may be possible first stop IMO should be rescue
