Got my WELKS schedule today. I had planned to send an entry form to one of my puppy owners, who lives in Worcestershire, to enable her to enter Lia in NFC, so she could have a day out and meet some more Munsters. BUT the entry is £15.50 for NFC and Non CC breeds, how can they justify this expense? I find it incredible, even if I lived in the area I wouldn't enter my dogs if they had no CC's at this show, the price is appalling.
Another show I find with inflated prices for more than it's worth, is SKC.
It will soon turn into the rich man's hobby at this rate, especially if the threatened hike in petrol prices goes ahead. Well I hope people vote with their feet and give these societies something to think about.

Its absolutely true about Manchester. It cost me 60 quid to enter three dogs (non CC) Plus there was the petrol, the city centre parking etc. Altogether I doubt if I saw change out of 100 pounds :(. Maybe the hiring of the show ground at Stafford will not cost as much as the G.Mex and they will reduce their prices next year  But I'll not hold my breath ;)
