Well I'm thinking about what type of puppy I'd like to get, and I'm I know the AmStaff/Pit Bull are very closely related. But I'd really like to know the specific differences in temperment, and such. I cant really find the information anywhere online. Thanks for the help, its appreciated.

According to the solicitor who specialises in the DDA, (whose name escapes me for the moment) the Amstaff is the "Show version" of the Pitbull terrier, and as such is considered the same under tha law. What applies to the Pitbull legally also applies to the Amstaff.
Hope this helps.
HI Jeangenie
I expect you mean Trevor Cooper? :)

That's the chap! I've been racking my brains - thanks! He's the bloke who defends the dogs, isn't he?

Hi Serj
E mail me as fiona described and I will discuss the pros / cons and differences with you of these breeds. Its been flogged to death on these boards and is quite a lengthy discussion.
Run a search on amstaffs and APBTs and you should also get lots of info.
Regards Mick.
