Have you tried her anal glands? Sometimes a blockage may cause an irratation. Is she doing a lot of damage?

Do you know how to do the anal glands. Sqeezing them yourself can cause more problems.

If she hasn't been spayed it could be a sign of soon to be in season !
One of my bitches was at the weekend and today has come into season.

My westie Jasper has been sitting or standing and then suddenly spinning round and going for his tail after staring at it for a few seconds, is this what is happenning or not? Yes he has been castrated,(we originally thought it was the stitches), he has had his glands checked by the vet been wormed and he still does it. The trainer says he sits funny too so any suggestions?
Wendy.
