Topic Dog Boards / Health / Elbow dysplasia comparison table
- By triona [gb] Date 30.03.15 15:58 UTC
I know of many hip dysplasia comparison tables which can be found online showing how each countries gradings compair to another, for axample this one- http://www.bmdinfo.org/Health/Hip_Rating_Comparison_Chart_Bernese_Mountain_Dogs.htm

Does anyone know of a similar table for elbows?

I thought it was the same everywhere. Certainly in Europe it is the same as here, and I just looked up USA and there it is normal, 1, 2, 3 so the only difference is zero is substituted for normal.

Im talking to someone who is in Europe mentions elbow grading in letter form rather than number

Europe is definitely the same as here -are you sure they didn't mean hips? Maybe a language problem from their side?

Agree I have statistics from Scandinavian countries for elbows and they are all the same as above 0 - 3.  but hips are A,B, C, De and E, with A best
