For some reason it is restricting the numbers of words I can post so here is the next bit !
Can I wish everybody good luck and hope you all have a wonderful time and hope all you lovely people who I have had the pleasure to get to know over the last 13 plus years on here have great success in all the classes you enter and what ever the result you know you have the best dogs that you could wish for.

So who and when are people going and what and who are you showing so we can all keep an eye out on the results coming out

Yeah been showing long enough to realise that..lol
I'm lucky my youngest is on day twelve of her season will be finished in time but had already given her her all over bath takes ten to fifteen days for her hair to settle normally will have to mousse and hair spray her to death when she is finished to make her hair settle in time, normally don't bother and let natural do it

Haven't decided yet if we are going on the Thursday -a Mali bitch I've bred is (as usual) competing in the inter regional obedience. She will also be in the obedience world cup on the Sunday so we may just watch her then. But for definite:
Friday, showing 2 Malinois. Saturday, doing Discover Dogs, Malinois. Sunday, showing one Papillon.

This is my first crufts with a dog :D very excited!
I'm doing discover dogs on the Friday with my welsh terrier, showing her on Saturday (9am class too, so the fan club (AKA family lol!) will have to get a shifty on to get up there in time!) And then might be going back for a quick shop on Sunday! :D

I'm there showing my girl on the Friday, at the breed champ show on the Saturday near by in Shirley, then back at crufts on the Sunday taking my friend who is showing her boy that day.
My first Crufts with a dog. He's not in the best of coat but we're going for the experience. Incredibly nervous!

Sorry we won't see you but I'm sure you will be in your element with the wee clown :)
Shall be there with the Boobster and Connyconcons (the Gordons) on Thursday - early start and Conny first in ring in Veteran! Expecting everything to clash as usual - Jess has Boo to show in Open and her co-owned Field and YKC Handling luckily the field in the same hall but handling will be a mad dash between halls for that - really hoping no clashing though be much less stressful.
Good luck everyone enjoy yourselves

I'll be on the DD stand with the IRWS on Thursday afternoon, then back on Sunday to support one of my last litter in her dalmatian class; she's her owner's first ever show dog and they qualified at her third show so I'm thrilled for them! The owners have never been to Crufts before, even as spectators, so they have no idea what it's going to be like!

Not going as have work commitments. Lots of dogs to look after and puppies ;-) xxx

Not showing this year, I decided my gammy ankle won't cope. Am doing Discover Dogs on the Friday morning. Will be cheering Jo and fay on in the afternoon
Not going with a dog as I don't own a dog to show yet, just a barmy 'rescue' and a inherited old grump!
But I am there all four days

just going to soak up the breeds on Thursday, Friday and Sunday and will be drooling over the elkhounds Saturday!
And I cannot wait
I will be going on Saturday and showing my 2 terriers. For my oldie it will be his last show I think, and he'll be up first in Veteran so an early start for us.
Good luck to everyone who is showing/competing/supporting.

Me too Tooolz! Taking my two dopey friends up the night before and worrying about getting them organised and in the car early enough in the morning!! :-D

The Papillon judging is one of the early starts at 8.30 am so I am SOOOO pleased we are showing a bitch and therefore will have a long wait and not have to be there first thing.

Blast having a popular breed with 2 judges!!!

Not showing or anything - but - if you see a 40 year old way too tall woman with her 60 year old Spanish mother and a 4 year old girl on the Friday cooing and drooling all over the BMDs - the tall one's me.
And if you see a 40 year old tall woman on Saturday nattering around the westie ring, systematically going to every single section of Discover Dogs before bankrupting herself on the trade stands of things she'll probably never need or use, possibly breaking her arms carrying far too many bags of treats, toys, catalogues and wondering why she has a sample of dog food in her hand she is never going to use as she staggers out at the end of the day, staring around because she has forgotten where she parked the car and realises she has no idea where the carpark ticket has disappeared to, seriously considering for the 10th year in a row that she should've booked into the hotel, before then taking the wrong exit and ending up on the damn toll road by accident yet again ... yeah, that'll be me.

Yep! My sister is on CD again!

Going on Friday to watch and shop again - been every year since '94

must be mad but I enjoy my day out!
Friend is coming with me for 4th time and taking another friend who has her 1st dog but has never been to a dog show - never been to NEC for anything and has not heard of or seen any of the less common breeds

Will enjoy seeing her reaction to the whole 'Crufts' experience

We'll be there on Thursday with the dogs. Taking two LMs and a NSDTR, youngest daughter also in the YKC handling so a busy day for us but at least the two breeds are in the same hall for the first time

Going back then without the dogs on Friday for some retail therapy and then BIS on Sunday

Don't forget to visit us on discover dogs Elkhound stand on Friday. In a bit of a quandary two of mien are in season, then we have Jozi 15+, so it looks like we will be taking the two being shown (4 at 11 1/2) to do the Booth, so they will be cream crackered on show day Saturday, oh well.

Hoping to go on the Friday. The problem is going without a dog doesn't allow us in early enough to get a ringside seat.

I'm going on Friday as a spectator, wanting to get an in the fur encounter with the Leonbergers. Still at the research phase but a possibility in the future. I haven't been to Crufts since it was at Earls Court so am very excited. Good luck to everyone exhibiting!

I have the same problem! Stand on the Friday and showing on the Saturday. Hoping to make a little fort in the corner for dog naps!

We will be going on friday as crufts virgins. Hubby loved discover dogs at earls court and LKA at nec so all I need to do is make sure he takes lots of cash. Will £300 ish be enough? Have had an awful month that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy so really needed something to look forward to. Will be watching the gsd classes with much interest. Will look out for brainless too as have never met her breed in the flesh. May need to take a thumb stick and trolley though as I understand its a lot of walking.

We will be there on Friday with Mac, he qualified at Boston Champ show :)

Oh I will do!
You might want to warn everyone that I'll be the crazy small blonde snuggling all the Elkies!

I already have my comfy ballet pumps ready and if the discover dogs crowd is anything to go by...I think I might also pack the tena lady! Laugh/cringe if you want but it was a life saver...don't know how or why but it helps me to wait in the queue without having to resort to the one legged indian rain dance! Can't wait now. My dog obedience club has asked if we could all wear our fleeces and represent the club....think I might just carry it around.
Carry bottles of pop these can have the top put back on, take your own food it is easily available in all halls but VERY expensive again take prepacked sandwiches of if taking your own put in disposable bags that can be discarded in litter bins, unlike showers who have benches to put shopping on you have to carry every thing with you, I once saw lockers there but have no idea where.
One of my friends who goes on terrier day takes a shopping trolley with her, her mum's four wheel one, every thing goes in side pushing is easier than carrying she also had a couple of spiders, elastic bunges to attach her coat to the handle out of the way and easy to find at home time unlike her first time it was at the bottom of the trolley of course.
Take a small handbag that can go across your body big enough only for keys phone and purse pick pockets have been known.
Enjoy your day have fun shopping oh must stalls do take plastic as well as cash

Good luck to everyone showing at crufts enjoy
