Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / Attending shows/ringcraft with a litter at home?

I was wondering what people thought about attending shows or ring craft classes when they have a young litter at home.

Thanks in advance.

Personally I don't take any of my dogs until my puppies have had both vaccinations and a week beyond--not worth risking, is it? We have been out of the show ring for 5 months and I dread to think what the dogs and I will be like getting back into the swing of it. The dogs appear to have enjoyed their vacation though!

Plenty of people do it, how rigid they are in cleaning down themselves and the dogs who are taken out of the home is unknown to me.
I for one wouldn't even consider it, the risk is far too high IMO and any litter is precious and not worth the risk
