My girl is running up to her last 4/6 days before her due date, now I have never taken the temperature drop before.
What is the average start temp, I took hers this morning after a restless night, but she is fine today, all relaxed and eating etc.
She was 37.2 that seems a bit low to me, but maybe not for her.
Anyone got any info on this..

mine usually go from around 37.5-37.75 to a drop down to 36.5 .  It doesn't matter so much what your starting temp is.  They all vary a bit, but it usually goes up a bit, then down at least 1 degree.
I take it every morning and night, as those temps vary a bit too.
Tracked it for all my bitches and it has been a very useful and reliable indicator of impending whelping.

My girl maintained for 5 days at 37.2 then dropped to 36.7 just before going into active labour, we had 9 puppies early this am her temp drop was yesterday afternoon so it's a sure sign x

That is great thank you for the info. I shall take it for the rest of the week, she is just up slightly this morning but not much. Taking it twice a day. Fingers crossed she won't keep me waiting too long. Lol ☺️

Lots of digging last night and her temp was 36.8 is that enough of a drop to be a sign. ??

Well my girl had 4 babies yesterday afternoon. two girls and two boys..
What got me was that she didn't hardly pant at all and I thought she hadn't started yet...
Just got her upstairs to whelping box when first one arrived...lol
Thanks for your help it did work, just quite subtle drop in the end..
