I can't help it but I'm a soap addict, well emmerdale and Corrie only, and I know it's not real etc etc but why are emmerdale repeating the Same storyline as the Cameron one.
Killer and liar gets away with it and it's months before they get caught and poor old Katie will be blamed.

Have to agree Lorripop, it's just going to drag on and on making me more and more cross, no idea why I watch it really. We are just about to go away for six weeks to NZ, hopefully it will be done and dusted by the time I get back, but I somehow doubt it.

I know how you feel. I watch eastenders and am sooo bored of waiting to find out who killed Lucy!

Same here. I know they keep us waiting to up the viewers but I'm afraid that it has the opposite effect on me. I'm just fed up of these programmes that don't reach the conclusion sensibly. I think it is driving people away. I know that I've changed my viewing habits because of it.
Sadly the soaps make the police force look like idiots that couldn't follow a lead even if one end is their hand, yet we get brilliant programs like silent witness where the police and forensics can find EVERYTHING out.
It won't stop me watching but you would think a new storyline might good or just stick to killer getting caught within a few episodes.
I really think the Chrissy needs to go next.
Gave up on eastenders a while a go as always dark and gloomy whereas emmerdale and Corrie do now and again have some humour.

I lovvvve Silent Witness! :D Was Tuesdays the last in series? :(

Am I alone ???
Last time I watched Coronation was when Ena Sharples was in it and last time for EE still had Mark Fowler in it.

I've never watched a full episode of Corrie - 10 minutes was enough! I gave up on stEnders about 10 years ago.

Snap JG! Can't stand soaps, they're all either totally hammy or just plain dreadful.

Not as dreaadful as the endless supply of 'gameshows' and reality (not) tv!
Only keep an eye on Emmerdale and Corrie, don't watch any other soaps.
Just wish the writers would have a few new ideas.
Yet another manipulative murderer.
And this is the second time Katie has ended up in a hole at the hands of a violet man.
Are viewers supposed to have amnesia?

Give me QI any day !
Cannot bear EE or the shouty show as I call it. Like emerdale opening credits and the odd bit of corrie for the dry humour but never "watch" any of them.
Love country file and series like wild China. Too much David Attenborough as a kid.
Did catch my first glimpse of Caesar Milan the other day he does love to yank a lead doesn't he?

I used to enjoy QI but they've come out with so much clap trap over the years, it's hard to forgive

There was one where dog breeding/mating was mentioned. I had to switch off or burst a blood vessel LOL
Normally, I just shrug it off, but such a show should at least be well researched.
I'm finding nature programmes very dumbed down these days. Same with OU programmes

Must be my age

Really boring story lines at the moment and tbh people rave about some of the acting, really I don't think it's great at all, too wooden..
I'm a huge fan of the Australian soaps and still watch them lol
also partial to a bit of Casualty and Holby too, but even their story lines are getting boring and dragging out on some things, not what I call cliffhanger anymore!

Oh thank goodness someone else has noticed! I remember getting apoplectic when they were 'disproving' the "i before e" saying for English spelling, but using words like 'hacienda' to prove their point. Hacienda isn't an English word, for goodness' sake!

Hello Lorripop, Who has been killed in Emmerdale?

My husband and I watch Coronation Street. We assume it must resemble some people 'up north' as by now there would have been enough complaints about it that it would have been cancelled. Never heard any jokes either. As regards Emmerdale we cannot believe that a whole village is owned by gypsies, that is a bit too far fetched. As a southerner we do get the jokes especially with the Masoods on East Enders. The part of London it is supposed to portray is extremely inaccurate.
Katie was pushed and fell through the floor/ceiling, by Robert, after she'd taken photos of him kissing Arron.....

I only watch Emmerdale as we used to live in North Yorkshire not too far away from where it used to be filmed. I liked hearing the Yorkie accents now we're down south. However there seems to be hardly any yorkies left now.
My husband claims that Holby and Casualty are soaps as well, but my favourite hospital drama is Greys Anatomy which is back on again next week.

Can't stand soaps, reality tv or the dreaded game show, but I am sad Last Tango in Halifax is finished, can't wait for the next one.
Anyone else watched Fortitude on Sky ?, quite enjoying that, although it could have been a bit shorter.

Hubby is watching Fortitude, I got a bit bored with it, but we both enjoyed the three episodes of Ascension that was on Sky just recently.

I can only get freeview and freesat not sky or cable so I miss a lot of programmes. My favourites are Revenge, The Good Wife, Homeland and Under the Dome. Heavens, they're all American. Broadchurch is another one at the moment. At least it's English.

I have Ascension recorded but haven't gotten round to watching it.
Delighted the new season of Supernatural has been picked up, couldn't do without my Winchester fix.
yes I watched Fortitude and am liking it, especially as everyones lives are beginning to be told.
Perhaps they should send the Silent witness team over to Emmerdale then horrid Robert would be found out and go prison and then that Chrissy could leave too!
I would like it if her phone was looked at or at least her icoud account then that picture may be on there
