I don't know how many of you saw the video secretly filmed where a load of sheep were being really badly abused prior to their slaughter.  It made me feel physically sick to watch.  It made me want to have an input to try and get these actions totally eradicated.

I want to emphasise this is HALAL SLAUGHTERHOUSES, the title is misleading. This is not the normal procedure followed by ALL slaughterhouses! I certainly don't agree with the way HALAL is done!!!

I couldn't watch it as I know it make me sad and mad, but why do we expect animals to be treated humanely, when half the world can't treat each other humanely!
The poor animals suffer a horrible death but at least they die and no flashbacks in future life like a lot of children have to suffer from abuse or those that have been to war and suffered horrific things.

I hope more secret filming is done in these places so people stop doing it for fear of being caught.

I too felt sick watching that video, it's absolutely disgraceful the way those sheep were treated! I think cctv should be put up in establishments like that one, and anyone caught behaving like that punished severely.

already done many slaughter men are animal lovers and treat the stock with respect, but sadly I am sure the job attracts some twisted people.

I haven't seen the video, nor do I wish too, I'm well aware what goes on in some establishments, but there is a campaign on the go to have CCTV made compulsory in the UK, so there is hope for improved welfare.
