Hi, I'm new to this site, been directed over here from a horsey site, which is where I spend all my surf time. My dad has lost his puppy today, and so I have put a thread in the 'missing' section.

Anyway, when I sent off my pups papert to the KC for transfer of ownership, back in December, I also requested an 'extended pedigree' and enclosed the one cheque for both fees.

I have emailed them TWICE, with no reply.

Just how long to the KC take to send an extended pedigree?

I've had my own papers back now, but not the pedigree!

Do you mean the 5 generation one ?
I think they do it in two different departments . They do the kc reg in one part and when i spoke to the chap on the phone he said they contract any other stuff out so it comes in different posts .
Ring them and give them your pedigree number - they were very good when i called

I have horses too, and the welsh pony and cob society can take up to 6 months to do a transfer of ownership! Maybe it's just me being impatient - lol
