Anyone have any recent experience with this company?
Older reviews seem appalling but they may have got their act together since then.
OH likes the idea of solid wood rather than veneers and I like the style but it's an awful lot of money and I need to spend it wisely.
Any help appreciated.

That put me off so I went to m&s
beautiful oak bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table. Fantastic customer services; they assemble everything for you. the quality is fantastic - money well spent in my book. I went for the Gainsborough and Sonoma ranges.

Hi
I have two bookcases from this company - bought separately at different times, different styles. Both within the last 2/3 years.
We're very impressed with the quality - really solid, the finish is good and they look great. One of them arrived slightly damaged. It was collected and replaced straightaway without any hassle or extra cost or postage charges etc.
Very pleased with the products and the service but I don't know how typical this is, or if we were just lucky!
Hope this might help a bit.

We bought bedroom furniture from them about three years ago. We were very pleased with the quality and the service. There was a problem with one of the drawers but they sorted the problem out very quickly. I would certainly shop there again.

I have just had delivery of some lounge furniture, TV stand and sideboard. Very good service from start to finish and the products are of good quality and no problems with the items at all.

I have bought furniture in the past that has looked great but drawers have been stiff. It has lasted well though.
I bought a bed from them last year and it was a disaster start to finish. The bed was lovely but the struts/supporting leg things were broken. The second one wasnt even the same bed and after that I gave up.
I would say that unless you find something you love and are prepared for toing and froing - avoid! We gave them the benefit of the doubt when the bed we wanted had some bits hammered down when they should have slotted together. Just thought it was because staff not great at building furniture - reality was the. BIts did not actually fit together - aaaargh.:-)
Many thanks to all that replied.
The search is back on then...
We have not bought from that particular company but do have a fair bit of solid oak furniture in our house. We took a leap of faith, trawled the internet and bought on line. All the pieces still look like new years later and we love it.
