Just wanted to share this lovely story from this morning.

Two friends of mine had really rough years last year. One (breeder) lost her older bitch tragically, and the other (puppy buyer) had missed out on a pup from a much awaited litter, as well as having some other problems. Puppy buyer is absolutely the best home you could ask for and the breeder knows this.

I put the two in touch with each other when the breeder told me she was planning this fab litter. Touch wood, all has gone really well for the bitch, she got huge! Breeder and buyer friends both wanted a bitch, and last night she had her pups.

Had a text this morning from the breeder, pups have arrived, only one bitch! The breeder says she thinks she will let my friend take the bitch pup and keep a dog instead. My friend texts me, pups have arrived! But only one bitch, which she has been offered and has accepted. I tell them both how happy I am for them both and go about my day....

Several hours later, a text from the breeder friend- nearly 6 hours after she felt sure she had finished she has delivered another lovely and well dog and bitch!!

How's that for a reward for being kind and offering up the bitch to this fab home?!

Of course it is still very early days and they are both sensible and understand that, just thought it was so lovely how it's worked out thus far :)
