I have a 2 year old bitch I would like to breed. Her dam was from Rickinghall in Suffolk, sire from either Cressingham or Ellingham in Norfolk, being a working (gamekeeper's) dog. She doesn't have papers but works well and is of good temperament. I am located near Watton, Norfolk, but am willing to travel a reasonable distance to find a mate for her. We tried last year but no luck withthe dog. I found a dog in Bourne but understand he is now 'relocated' tp Doncaster, which is a bit out of the way!

Any information would be appreciated. There are lots of Lakelands/Patterdales in this area, but I rarely see information about stud.

If you get a copy of Countrymans Weekly, out every Friday, you will see lots of working terriers in there & most likely find a patterdale near you.
