I have just ordered a set of these has anyone used them? all reviews I have read are very positive, my girl peg a saluki in her 14th year can no longer stand on my kitchen floor. Have ordered greyhound fit in large as although she is only a small saluki tendons have gone in her feet so she's very flat footed. I think I might be using Velcro to hold them up as very skinny legs but as I want to leave them on during the day I don't want them to be too tight.
Any other product anyone has used, that they have found works please tell me, many thanks, Ash

When my old boy started to slip a bit on my kitchen floor, I just covered it in Dirttrapper mats. This sorted the issue for us :)

Have you got a link?  I'd like to see them, sounds like they could be useful if my old girl has another vestibular.

I feel your pain - my oldie is getting incontinent as well, I think canine cognitive dysfunction is setting in. She is fine during the day but piddles on the kitchen floor immediately after eating her evening meal - with no signals. I caught her tonight, she was looking at it tonight wondering where it was all coming from :(  Have tried feeding her in the garden (felt bit mean in this weather) but she comes back in and does it, and staying with her doesn't help either. It's a bit like the incontinent woman in Little Britain. Going to think laterally now and see if i can actually get her to wee on some incontinence pads instead.

Pain much shared, its very hard. We have  been through everything, i  bought incont pads for pegs bed, the ones they use for people, problem is you cant tumble dry and they take ages to dry, the other thing which was good was the childrens disposable dry nights, bigger and cheaper. Sometimes she makes it to the garden, other times she pees one end of the kitchen to the other trying to make it to the garden. On wobbly legs, still waiting for power socks to arrive
Things have got a tiny bit easier as you tend to know when they want to go and that's about the best you can do.
The best thing we got was a waterproof bed, but went through a few that 'claimed' to be water tight and weren't.The bed we have now is completely sealed, lifesaver, after much searching found on ebay, just means that If anything happens this bed can be sprayed with a bleach cleaner and then wiped dry, anyone who has tried stuffing a dog bed in the washing machine knows its a workout and requires the use of two arms and one leg, fleeces for bedding dry super fast so that's easy as well.
Peggy was ok until she had a urine infection last year, we did everything we could but she was on antibiotics for  almost 3 months.
So wobbly legs and incontinence, but peg still barks at the postman, wants breakfast lunch and dinner, can hear the fridge being opened even in a deep sleep and on occasion chucks a toy around so we aren't giving up.
(A small note on doggy incontinent  nappies ,they are fine and work well until your dog has an upset tummy, then you have to drop everything and get in the shower with your dog)
Ash x

Won't the socks get wet when she has an accident ?? When we had a problem with Bramble last year (just at night fortunately) we just put newspaper down in the kitchen where he slept. This also helped with the slipping problem and helped with cleaning up. He was also pooing at night as well until we realised (so grateful to someone on here who suggested it) that it helped enormously to leave a light on at night . He was very deaf and was finding darkness and silence very stressful - so was having accidents :(

Yes they will get wet, but will only have them on during the day so under supervision, they arrived today, started by just putting two on, and then stepped up to three. They really work I cant believe it, we always leave a light on as well, we put an old towel down by her bed at night if she needs it.

Tuffies are waterproof and wipe clean although rather expensive. I bought one of these

Which has been very good, certainly wipe clean and waterproof, but best of all, the dog loves it.

No good at links sorry but if you search ebay for waterproof dog beds they are made by a company called webbing direct (in the uk) they will put different types of foam in if you want as well,i didn't and they are very firm, thats ok for my girl who was having trouble standing in a soft bed anyway, I think they are titled as chew resistant ,tough waterproof, hope that helps.x

I thought I was being clever and put puppy pads down in the kitchen last night - she wee'd on the place that wasn't covered. But at least they soaked it all up nicely when I put them upside down over the wee, and went straight in the bin, much better than all the towels I was using before.
