Help!

We haven't shown in a loong time - we are due at Boston the Thursday and when I went to pack my show bag I can't find my armband to hold the show number.

Groomers online are sold out and everywhere else dosent offer next day delivery to get it here in time.
Will there be stalls at Boston selling these ? (It's been a few years since we went to a show - and even then we were not regulars so I'm very green around the gills!)

There are stalls at Boston. Not sure about armbands but if nothing else you will almost certainly be able to pick up a ring clip.

Phew - thanks for that - I had visions of sellotaping the number to hubby's arm !

If nothing else, bring a bunch of rubber bands with you. If you make small tears on each side of the arm band, you can use rubber bands to hold it on your arm.

Or grab a safety pin and use that instead

There are almost bound to be stalls at most of the bigger shows selling this kind of thing.    If not actual armbands, at least clips for your show number.

Out in Canada, I used to make a small tear on either side of the number and use an elastic band (cheap me!!).

Yet another query - I have entered an open show via fosse data - do you get any passes or tickets through as with Champ shows? as I cant see anything on Fosse for me to print - how will they know I have pre paid for my catelogue?

No passes or anything for open shows :) Just go to the secretary's table when you get there and they will know you have prepaid a catalog.

If you don't buy catalogues (I don't, as I can hardly show and complete them at same time) then in your ring the steward will ask your dogs name and give you the correct number, just occasionally you get the ring numbers from the secretary so it's best to ask them
