Anyone know where I can copy a temperature chart for recording bitches temperature. (I trained as a nurse so like to do things 'properly' rather than just scribble figures on paper) I am not computer literate enough to make my own!!:D

I am also trying to find out the temperature chart.
Is it right that the temp should be 101 normally but it drops to 98.
If someone could let me know I would apprecitate it. Also how quickly will they whelp from the drop of temperature?
I have never bothered before about taking temp. But this is something I would like to do on a future litter. Any info would be appreciated.

The temp usually will drop 24-48 hours before whelping, so at least it gives you some idea but I am told it is not failsafe. The chart Tracey did for me is great so if she has no objection i can forwrd it to you if you give me your e mail

By the way thank you for the chart.
Its interesting stuff. But can a dogs

Not 'normal' temp but it can drop to 98 when whelping is imminent or I believe in certain conditions eg. hypothermia.

The bitches temp drops to prepare the pups slowly for the lower temperature of the outside world - I think!
