A couple of weeks ago we noticed a lump in our dogs mouth, on the roof of it right behind her teeth. We monitored it but it didn't change. About 3-4 days ago she started to have sneezing episodes. We were unsure if they were connected so she was taken to the vet. The vet didn't seem bothered about the sneezing but was concerned about the lump so she went in for the day and has had a biopsy, still waiting on the results. The sneezing hasn't subsided though, its mostly when she first wakes up she will do 5-6 sneezes. This morning though ive noticed a couple of the others sneezing (although not as bad), can dogs get colds? I cant think of anything that I have changed (smell wise) in the house that would make them start sneezing!

Ill keep an eye out for that then, nobody has coughed at all though, fingers crossed its not!

When I had a sneezing episode some years back it was 3 dogs, so I had to find what was going on.  The vet said it seemed like an allergy.

Days later I went out to the garage and found an old sack of peanuts (for the birds.)  It had been overlooked and I was going to ditch it.  The dogs had been nosing round in the sack and the dust stirred up was the culprit.

It turns out they have all got it now and its a respiratory infection (Not kennel cough but still contagious), all dogs are sneezing like mad, one is occasionally getting short of breath, one is vomiting, another has a bad tummy too. Not great having 6 poorly dogs!

When I was hit by Kennel Cough I had 23 poorly dogs, it was a nightmare!
